Why is radon important to me?
Radon is a cancer-causing radioactive gas that you cannot see, smell, taste, hear or otherwise identify without the assistance of professional monitoring equipment. If radon is present in your home, your business, your children's schools, or any other place where you live, work, play or study, it is gradually and progressively increasing your risk for developing lung cancer. In fact, radon gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States!
What can I do?
Your very first step is to have your home tested. You can click here to find a professional radon testing service in your area and schedule an evaluation of your property. We urge you to not delay in scheduling this appointment, as the more you delay, the more you put yourself, your family, your loved ones and/or your clients at risk.

If you've already had a radon test performed, or mitigation service provided, by a provider listed in our directory, you can view your personal results reports on-line by using the login form at the top of this page. If you need assistance with accessing this feature you may contact your local radon service provider.
What is RadonReporting.com doing to help?
RadonReporting.com is actively assisting the fight against radon-gas related cancer deaths in a variety of ways.
  • We provide a suite of tools that allow radon providers and radon mitigators to be more productive in their individual business, which would allow them to more efficiently and accurately evaluate and treat more properties. Every time that radon is eradicated from a property, we take one more step towards victory over radon gas.
  • We provide the community free access to view radon results nationwide. Although these results are not definitive and should not be used as the extent of your decision-making process, the evidence of high results in surrounding areas should motivate individuals to pursue radon testing of their own properties, again advancing the efforts against radon-induced cancer. NOTE: The absence of results in your area, or the presence of only low results in your area, does not guarantee that you will find low results in your home, business or other structure. Every individual building structure is different and should be tested individually.
  • We provide an array of services for government agencies to monitor radon testers and mitigators. Although we prefer to feel that all service providers are equal, the truth is that it's possible a radon tester will try to cut corners. When a provider chooses to partner with RadonReporting.com, they are also agreeing to have their records made available to government agencies to assist in providing adequate oversight of their operations, and thus increasing their reliability to the end user.

These are just a few of the ways RadonReporting.com is joining in the fight against cancer-causing radon gas. We will never stop working until the needless deaths of individuals from radon-induced lung cancers has been eradicated.
